Beautiful sunny windy day

We have been haning a wonderful visit with out oldest daughter and grandson from CO.
We had alot of fun carving pumpkins and viviting with other family members
We will take them back to the airport tonight to fly back home

On Saturday we will leave to go to MO to visit my inlaws and do some hunting and fishing.

I am getting ready for my oldest daughter and grandson to come from CO for a visit. My oldest grandson and I are going to go to the airport to pick them up on Thursday.

The weather is geting cooler here and the trees are beautiful. I guess it's time to start getting things ready for winter while it's not to cold. The plants have to be repotted and brought in hopefully to survive the winter.

Spending the morning with my youngest grandson watching cartoons and playing with cars. And I am working on another BCA scarf. My daughter got orders for 4 more so I'll be busy working on them for a couple days.

Plus I hope to make chocolate chip cookies this afternoon. Those always goes over big and don't last long.
It is a sunny day here and nice after rain most of the day yesterday. The trees are turning beautiful fall colors and everything smells so crisp and fresh.

Sorry it's been so long.....

I've been busy lately. We got a new car. A Caddy and now I feel like I am styling!!!

My Brother and Sister-in-law bought a 145 year old Victorian home and I am going to help them get it fixed up.

I found out that my adopted daughter is going to have a baby in the Spring. I am so excited for them. I can't wait to get started on the afghan for the baby. It's a tradition of mine to make all new babies an afghan to remember me.

My oldest daughter and 3 year old grandson is coming to visit next week and I have to get the room ready for them.

I finished all the BCA pins and koozies and made 2 BCA scarves.

It was a dark and stormy morning.......

We were woke up to a thunder storm and heavy rain. First rain we have had in a week or more so I am sure the plants are happy.

We had a busy weekend. On Sat. we bought a new to us car and sold our Jeep.

Our truck has transmission problems so it is in the parking place of shame at the moment.

Sunday night we went to my Sister-in-laws house to watch the Bears play. I am a Cowboys and Packer fan but I like the Bears too.

Today is catch-up day for housework.

Tomorrow is sewing and crocheting day.

Cloudy and humid here today.

Fall cleaning is the plans for today.

That is after my youngest Grandson goes home. He likes to help to much. It is kinda lonely for him in the mornings with his brother in school. He likes to spend the mornings with his "Mammaw". Right now he is watching "Shrek" his favorite movie.

I am trying to do a little catching up from being so busy over the weekend. Right now while trying to keep a 2 year old occupied. He is a big help. When not saying "I want to hold you Mammaw".
